Big Bay Boom

Happy 5th of July!  What did everyone do yesterday for the 4th?

I’m guessing a lot of you partook in the usual festivities—BBQ, beer, hanging with friends, family, etc.  I know I did, and loved every minute of it.

Did anyone happen to be down on the San Diego Bay last night?  Well, the mystery is finally solved.  Now we know exactly what would happen if all of the fireworks went off at once.

Fireworks Fail

The 15-second fireworks bust has been all the buzz this morning.  What did you think was happening?  What do you think Garden State Fireworks will do to make amends?  I’m curious to see how it all plays out.

Check out this link of the #BigBayBoom to watch video of the show: http://www.nbcsandiego.com/video/#!/on-air/as-seen-on/Raw-Video-of-Fireworks-Mishap/161426605

In the meantime, no hard feelings—it was still a fun-filled evening and definitely a conversation piece.

Send us your photos if you caught any shots of the brief show and we will display them on our Facebook page!

Happy Summer San Diego!

It is a gorgeous day to be in San Diego.  The sun is shining, people are out walking, biking, and running on the Embarcadero, and the museum’s doors are open—so come on in!

Here are a few fun things we have going on this summer:
