The Maritime Museum of San Diego makes her historic ships available as an event venue for corporate events, private events, team building programs, tall ship sailing charters and beautiful waterfront weddings or wedding receptions. We create unique theme events such as our pirate parties for both adults and children that create everlasting memories. The museum provides an event coordinator to assist with the planning and preparation of your special event. Our staff will help to ensure an incredible experience that is both unique and memorable. Whether you’re planning a wedding, a reception, a corporate event, a sailing charter, or even a celebration of life through the Scattering of Ashes at sea, our event planning team is here to assist you with all your event planning needs.
Our venues include; two National and State Historic Landmarks: the Star of India and the Berkeley; the State’s Official Tall Ship Californian, as well as the H.M.S. Surprise, a replica of an 18th century Royal Navy frigate used in the Academy Award winning motion picture, “Master and Commander, The Far Side of the World.”
